Vietnam Container Shipping Joint-stock Company (VICONSHIP) has explained the increase in revenue in Quarter II/2008 as follows:
The company’s business activities in QI/2008 did not take place more uninterruptedly than in QII/2008 due to Tet holidays. The volume of goods transported at Green Port in QII was more than in QI. As a result, net revenue in QII/2008 increased by VND11,679,468,363 (equivalent to 16.87%) and profit before tax increased by VND5,712,640,043 (equivalent to 25.90%).
